How to install Google Chrome Browser in Kali Linux

I have two methods for install google chrome in Kali Linux
Method 1:
Step 1 : open the default browser and type in google "free download google chrome" and click on download address of google chrome 64 bit or click here to directly access
Step 2 : click the download button and than choose 64bit.deb version and click accept and install google chrome
Step 3 : open the terminal and type the command
root@kali:~# cd Desktopand press enter
Step 4 : type the below given command
root@kali:~/Desktop# lsand press enter
Now you see the terminal like this image below
now copy the name of chrome-browser-downloaded and paste after dpkg -i
type "dpkg -i [paste the copied name of google]
a complete command like this
root@kali:~/Desktop# dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_i386.debhit the enter button the chrome linux will starts installing
after installation completes adding the chrome button on Main menu
Click Applications>> System Tools >> Prefrences >> Main Menu
click new item and than Enter the name you want to display in main menu of chrome linux and type command "google-chrome" without quotes
Now open the chrome it will show you message "Google Chrome can not be run as root"
Now how to solve it :
Open computer > open File System > opt > google > Chrome
in this location open Chrome application with leafpad and edit "--user-data-dir" as shown in image below and save the file now you can able to run the Google-Chrome in your Kali Linux
Method 2 :
Step 1 : login to your Kali LinuxStep 2 : Click on Applications on upper left side and hover to system tools
Step 3 : Under System Tools tab click "Add/Remove Software"
Step 4 : Type the "google chrome 64 bit" or type "chrome linux" in search bar and check the google-chrome-stable and click apply the google chrome portable will start installing automatically
Step 5 : Now open the google chrome it will show you message "Google Chrome can not be run as root"
Now how to solve it :
Open computer > open File System > opt > google > Chrome
in this location open google-chrome application with leafpad and edit "--user-data-dir" as shown in image below and save the file now you can able to run the Google-Chrome in your Kali Linux
